Peter Keane

Peter brings nearly 20 years of experience in lending and investing across asset-backed finance and alternative credit, with a deep understanding of the full capital structure. His expertise spans the UK and European markets, where he has consistently delivered innovative solutions across a broad range of credit strategies.

He is passionate about partnering with management teams to help them achieve their strategic objectives, combining corporate insight with technical depth to drive sustainable growth.

Before joining Quilam, Peter spent seven years at Ares Management in the Alternative Credit group, where he focused on asset-backed investments across ABS, structured credit, and GP-led solutions. Prior to Ares, he served as a Director at NatWest, specialising in debt financing for non-bank lenders and financial institutions.

Peter is a qualified ACA chartered accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Business Studies from the University of Warwick.
